How to query for ownership parcel records -

By selecting this button, you will be able to query ownership parcels by Owner's Name, Parcel Number, or Parcel Address.

Owner's Name queries use a wildcard search. More about this later.
Parcel Numbers contain 12 digits. The first 9 digits identify the Township, Range, Section,  Quarter-Section, and Assessor's block that a parcel is located in. If you enter 9 digits, you will see records for all of the parcels within a   block. If you enter all 12 digits, you will only see the record for a specific parcel. You must enter at least 9 digits in order to run this query.
Parcel Address queries use a wildcard search for the street name. More about this later.

By selecting this button, you will be able to query ownership parcels by Aldermanic Ward, Assessment Area, Parcel Class (residential, commercial, industrial or agricultural), Lot Size, Assessed Value (land, improvements, or total), Street Name, or Address Range.

At the present time, this query is limited to returning 300 records so you will need to be somewhat selective in defining your query.

Please be aware that some combinations of criteria may be mutually exclusive and may result in no records being returned. More about this later.

After your query runs, you will see a summary of the results in the lower righthand corner of the page. You may increase the size of the summary report frame by using your mouse to drag the top frame upward. From that summary you can select a detailed report of information about a particular parcel and/or display a map of that parcel. From the detailed parcel report, you will be able to select a detailed report for the building(s) on that parcel, if your selection is a residential parcel. Building information for commercial and industrial parcels is not available at this time. You will also be able to select a report showing the elected political representatives for that parcel.
